I'm discussing my experiences with the 80/20 rule in KDP (Kindle Direct Publishing).
Despite the rule suggesting that 80% of sales should come from 20% of my books, I've found that only 16% of my sales meet this expectation.
I share reasons for this, including a lack of research, creating redundant content, entering competitive niches, and writing ineffective book descriptions.
To improve KDP success, I advise against publishing unvalidated books, writing poor or no descriptions, and using multiple covers for the same content.
